About the Role - Interior Architect / Project Manager
Our client is adding an Interior Architect / Project Manager to work directly with the firm's Principal and take ownership of project delivery. This is intended as a long-term hire, full time in their New York office, with compensation of $130,000 - $150,000.
The Principal leads design direction. This role owns the technical side of the work: you draw the full construction set yourself, then coordinate and run the job through to completion. If you are looking for a position where design authority sits with you, this is not that role.
Site visits are part of the job, and you may meet with clients where a project calls for it, though that varies from project to project.
What you'll need
Nice to have: experience with wood veneer/grain sequencing, custom furniture design, and mentoring junior team members; familiarity with Studio Designer.
