    Description

    We are seeking an Interior Design Intern who is eager to learn, explore new ideas, and contribute to creating meaningful brand experiences through design. This fall internship is aligned with the academic school year and will be based at KI's Corporate Office in Green Bay.If you're passionate about interior design and curious about the intersection of design and marketing, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning from seasoned professionals. You'll build real-world skills and play a part in shaping how design influences brand storytelling.Responsibilities:

    Maintain design libraryAssist interior design team with concepting and specifying showrooms and trade showsHelp with designing and styling sets for photo shootsCreating furniture typicals and mood boardsResearch trends in contract interior design for core markets (corporate, education, healthcare)

    What you Need to Succeed:

    Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related fieldFoundational understanding of design principles, space planning, materials, and finishesFamiliarity with how interior design can support branding and marketing goalsProficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)Basic knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is a plusAbility to create mood boards, visual concepts, and presentation layoutsComfortable researching and specifying furnishings, materials, and finishesStrong visual storytelling, brainstorming, and creative concepting abilitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsDetail‑oriented, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
