The Interior Designer/Construction Manager is responsible for all aspects of interior construction projects from conception to completion with direct responsibility for in-budget on-schedule projects within a multi-site medical office building portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Serve as leader on each project to coordinate and supervise all aspects of the scope of work • Perform site survey of existing conditions and field measurements • Produce space plans, pricing plans, design development packages and construction documents • Demonstrate competency with building codes, TAS/ADA and healthcare design • Prepare bid invitation and qualify bids • Review change orders and review and approve all pay applications • Establish and maintain construction budget • Lead construction progress meetings • Review contractor submittals and RFI's during construction • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status • Handle multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented and delivering results within given timelines • Communicate well with clients and team members
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Professional Degree from an accredited Interior Design or Architecture program 5+ years of professional experience in commercial or healthcare tenant development environment Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and instruction, yet able to function as part of a team

WORK ENVIRONMENT Office environment with some extended hours and frequent travel throughout Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex area required. This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
