Description
As Interiors Construction Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY you will:
- Manage daily onsite activities for commercial interior construction projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify potential delays
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Enforce site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Conduct regular progress meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Review construction drawings and coordinate field execution with project teams
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning
- Resolve field issues efficiently to keep projects on track
- Work closely with Project Managers to achieve project milestones and client expectations
Profile
The successful Interiors Construction Superintendent - Brooklyn, NY candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial interiors projects
- Experience delivering office fit-outs, tenant improvements, retail, hospitality, or healthcare interiors
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and interior finishes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Proven leadership and subcontractor management experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience working in occupied buildings is a plus
