Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Mode: Onsite 95% at SV8 Office
Responsibilities:
- Develop interior equipment specifications, interior maintenance programs, and specifications.
- Investigate reliability and serviceability problems, and design and develop corrective actions.
- Provide technical interface with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Develop Engineering Orders to modify aircraft interior equipment and/or configurations.
- Provide engineering support to Flight, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Aircraft Production.
Requirements:
- BS/MS Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum zero years of experience in aircraft engineering or related experience.
- Familiarity with aircraft interiors, regulatory requirements, and company engineering practices preferred.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and work well with other groups.
Preferred Skills:
- BS in Engineering (required, not Engineering Technology or Engineering Management), Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with airline processes and procedures, company experience preferred.
- Experience with aircraft cabin electrical systems, WIFI, and/or IFE systems.
