We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial interior construction projects across New Jersey and New York, ranging from $1M to $10M in value. This role is ideal for a construction professional with strong carpentry, drywall, framing, and interiors experience who can independently manage projects from award through closeout with minimal oversight.

Description

  • Project Management: Manage a portfolio of 5-10 concurrent commercial interior construction projects ranging from $1M to $10M in value.
  • Quality Control: Oversee projects from turnover through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations are achieved.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Schedule Management: Conduct project meetings and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

Profile

  • 5-10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
  • Strong background in interiors, carpentry, drywall, framing, ceilings, or related trades.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and trade coordination.
  • Ability to independently manage projects with little day-to-day supervision.
  • Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience reviewing plans, specifications, contracts, and project budgets.
