Intermediate- 5th Grade ELAR Teacher

CLASSROOM TEACHER 5TH GRADE ELAR 2026-2027 School Year

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college • Valid Texas teaching certificate EC-6 Core Subject 4-8 • ESL endorsement or ability to complete in the 2026-2027 school year • Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned • General knowledge of curriculum and instruction • Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
