Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to join their team for an exciting opportunity!

This role is tailored for a sharp analytical mind who is energized by complex rules, enjoys digging into data pipelines, and brings an uncompromising level of rigor to their work methodology.

Unlike single-project roles, you will manage a dynamic portfolio of multiple small-scale assignments simultaneously. You must be comfortable stepping into flighted initiatives, untangling technical or regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality process documentation and data maps with minimal ramp-up time.
Required Expertise
  • Capital Markets Foundation: 3 to 5 years of experience working within a Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Institutional Banking environment, with a solid grasp of financial instruments and data flows.
  • Data & Regulatory Exposure: Practical experience working on projects tied to financial data, regulatory reporting, or corporate compliance frameworks.
  • Mapping & Documentation Specialist: Exceptional skills in translating complex workflows into highly scannable, standardized documentation, process models, and data lineage maps.
  • Multi-Project Agility: A proven track record of successfully balancing multiple small-scale assignments at once, displaying the organizational skills required to add immediate value to different teams.
Key Responsibilities Rapid Analysis & Process Modeling
  • As-Is & To-Be Engineering: Conduct detailed business process analysis to map current and future-state workflows, creating comprehensive process flow diagrams and system mapping to expose operational gaps.
  • Data Lineage & Mapping: Partner with technical teams to execute data mapping, tracking data elements from their source through Capital Markets systems to ensure data integrity for downstream consumption.
  • High-Velocity Requirement Delivery: Partner with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to rapidly elicit requirements, building out crisp user stories, story maps, functional specifications, and strict acceptance criteria.
Technical Liaison & Cross-Functional Alignment Bridge the Technical Gap: Act as the vital translator between business users, compliance officers, and technical delivery teams—converting regulatory mandates and business needs into precise technical specifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Gather and analyze inputs from architects, upstream/downstream data teams, and business units to identify and flag critical solution interdependencies.

Artifact Governance: Create, update, and maintain institutional-grade documentation regarding all aspects of the product ecosystem, including operations runbooks, regulatory compliance evidence, and system functionality.
Delivery, Testing & Execution
Delivery Framework Adaptability: Seamlessly move between Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery frameworks depending on the specific scope of the assigned project.

Testing Consultation & Triage: Support QA and Business Testing teams by consulting on UAT test cases, validating data outputs against requirements, and leading defect triage with target application engineering teams.

Implementation Guardrails: Provide end-to-end support during system cutovers and go-lives, including creating user training materials and supporting post-implementation stabilization.
Qualifications
Education: University degree or college diploma in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
Soft Skills: An active listener with a high degree of professional adaptability. You are a self-starter who doesn't wait for direction, is comfortable stepping outside the traditional "BA box," and takes pride in a meticulous, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
