Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with grade level team in the PLC model
Prepare and teach all grade level content/standards
Efficient in data protocol and planning with MTSS
Help to plan for Intervention and Enrichment groups for all students
Create instructional resources for use in the classroom
Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Maintain grade books and prepare progress reports quarterly
Use common assessments to drive instruction
Utilize various curriculum resources
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
Observe, evaluate, and report student's performance.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
Contract Days: 184 Days
Salary: Per the master contract
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Appropriate Indiana Education Licensure
Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of students, staff and administration.
Proficient and competent demonstration of reading and writing capabilities.
Strong human relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy and presentation.
Multi-tasking ability and strong organizational skills.
Ability to utilize 21st century technological skills to enhance teaching and learning.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and
local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
