Stantec requires to hire an Intermediate Mining Engineer, professional with at least 7 years of work experience in general.
General Objective of the Role:
Carry out the calculation and methodology of the material extraction in a mine or quarry, as well as the economic plan for its execution in a profitable manner. Functionally reports to the CQA Manager in Lima (CQA Mngr) and the Mining Manager (Principal, Mining) in Salt Lake City.
Main Responsibilities
• Carry out the calculation and methodology of the material extraction in a mine or quarry • Develop the economic plan for execution of the extraction in a profitable manner. • Be a liaison between Stantec offices (Lima and Salt Lake City). • Review and correct models for the mining material extraction. • Short Term: Daily, weekly and monthly plans Medium: Forecast and Budget (up to 2 Y) Long: Life of Mine Plan and Strategic plan
