With several offices across the Unites States engaging in the defense, cyber, and commercial fields, OASYS, INC. provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.Position Description: The Intermediate Software Developer will contribute to a software team developing software for models and simulations used for Cybersecurity and Electro-Magnetic Activities (CEMA) training. This involves software coding within training simulations as well as integration with other simulations and military systems. Candidate will work in a team of developers, engineers, and analysts to address growing concerns of cyber security in highly networked weapon systems.Primary Responsibilities:Will help the team in working on customer-sponsored research and development projects developing defensive cyber security solutions for military weapon systems.Developing simulations to emulate threat realistic CEMA environments.Development of offensive and defensive cyber tools focused on Command and Control (C2) and Radar systems.Researching current and future cyber security threats against military systems.Minimum Requirements:Two (2) years of professional experience with software development is preferred.Programming ability in Python and/or C++ (version 14, 17, or 20).Candidate must be willing to travel approx. 5% each year if necessary (typically within the Continental United States)Desired (but not required) Qualifications:Experience with C++ 14/17/20Experience with CMAKEFamiliarity with Linux/POSIX platformsFamiliarity with fundamental networking implementations and concepts, including basic LAN and WAN networking skillsFamiliarity with vulnerability discovery and exploitation of operating systems and user space applicationsFamiliarity with virtualization and containerization technologiesFamiliarity with the following tools, concepts, and products are a plusUbuntu, Red Hat, similar Linux DistributionsNetworking ProtocolsWiresharkScanning/Analysis Tools (nmap, nikto, etc)Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
