This role involves leading project drawing production, interfacing with consultants and project managers, and overseeing construction activities. Successful candidates will have a harmonious blend of creative development and precise technical execution skills, particularly in retail planning, construction coordination, and detailed fixture and millwork design.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to travel for architectural site surveys, produce comprehensive drawing sets, and ensure thorough project documentation coordination with external consultants. You will be instrumental in the preparation of construction documents, securing necessary approvals, and participating in virtual coordination meetings throughout the construction phase. The role demands a commitment to a high standard of detail, organization, and collaboration, paired with the ability to influence the retail design landscape in a meaningful way.
Qualifications encompass a 3 to 8-year track record in retail design, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and comprehensive knowledge of building codes and industry standards. Ideal candidates are autonomous, innovative thinkers who excel in a collaborative environment and are adept at managing multiple commitments with precision. Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe products, and an understanding of ADA compliance are advantageous.
