Intermodal CDL-A Truck driver, Home Daily!

Smartlogisticsgroup is seeking qualified Intermodal CDL-A truck drivers to operate local intermodal loads with a Home Daily schedule. This role is focused on safe, reliable local transportation of intermodal freight and requires adherence to federal and company operating standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate company tractors and trailers for local intermodal loads, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Secure and transport intermodal containers in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, shipping paperwork, and electronic records as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal personnel, and customers regarding load status and issues.
• Comply with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and all company safety and operational policies.

Schedule and compensation:

• Home Daily schedule (Home Daily).
