Description
Smartlogisticsgroup is seeking qualified Intermodal CDL-A truck drivers to operate local intermodal loads with a Home Daily schedule. This role is focused on safe, reliable local transportation of intermodal freight and requires adherence to federal and company operating standards.
Key responsibilities:
Operate company tractors and trailers for local intermodal loads, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
Secure and transport intermodal containers in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate driving logs, shipping paperwork, and electronic records as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal personnel, and customers regarding load status and issues.
Comply with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and all company safety and operational policies.
Schedule and compensation:
Home Daily schedule (Home Daily).

Operate modern, well-maintained tractors and trailers assigned by the company.
Work in a local intermodal environment with regular interaction with terminal staff and dispatch.
Minimum qualifications:
Valid CDL class A (CDL-A) license authorized for operation in the United States.
