Smartlogisticsgroup is seeking qualified Intermodal CDL-A truck drivers to operate local intermodal loads with a Home Daily schedule. This role is focused on safe, reliable local transportation of intermodal freight and requires adherence to federal and company operating standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate company tractors and trailers for local intermodal loads, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
- Secure and transport intermodal containers in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, shipping paperwork, and electronic records as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal personnel, and customers regarding load status and issues.
- Comply with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and all company safety and operational policies.
Schedule and compensation:
- Home Daily schedule (Home Daily).
