SUMMER INTERNSHIP – ACCOOUNTING

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Summer Accounting Internship
  • Gain exposure to Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit
  • Works closely with Controller and Accounting team
  • Success is measured by gaining a better understanding of opportunities in Corporate Accounting

 

LOCATION

  • onsite Fort Wayne, IN
  • Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Controller with Internal Audit objectives
  • Assist with Accounting Team objectives
  • Assist with daily team responsibilities to cover summer vacations
  • Assist with Accounting Department administrative duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

  • No experience required
  • College student majoring in Accounting or related area wanting to have more exposure to Corporate Accounting
  • Intern will be issued a laptop and will have exposure to Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word) in addition to Microsoft BI and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Interest in Accounting or related field
  • No travel

Benefits eligibility varies by employment classification. Contractors, interns, and part-time employees are not eligible for the full-time employee benefits package.
