Job Description:
The Business Intern position at AAON offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Interns will support various business functions by assisting with projects, conducting research, and contributing to process improvements. This role is designed to provide exposure to real-world business operations while developing professional skills and industry knowledge. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and participate in team-based initiatives that align with AAONs strategic goals.
Primary Duties
Business Interns will be assigned to a specific department based on their academic background and career interests. They will assist with day-to-day operations, data analysis, reporting, and project coordination. Interns are expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support departmental goals.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct market or operational research and present findings to team members.
- Support documentation, workflow updates, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions with insights and questions.
- Shadow professionals to gain exposure to various business functions.
- Prepare presentations or reports summarizing internship experiences and learnings.
- Collaborate with other interns and departments on company-wide initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Preferred: Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of business principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
