This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in sports marketing, sponsorships, and relationship management.This internship will follow a hybrid schedule aligned with the DCU Full Time Staffing schedule. In‑person work at the D.C. United offices at Audi Field will be required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as well as on game days, which are typically Saturday afternoons and evenings, but also on other days. The other days, excluding game days or events, will be virtual. To be considered for this position, the ability to work on‑site during matches is required.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and maintenance of partner-related materials, including presentations, proposal and recapsResearch potential partners and industry trends to support partnership developmentCollaborate with internal teams including marketing, ticketing, and operations to ensure successful partnership fulfillmentAssist in tracking and reporting partnership deliverables to ensure all obligations are metProvide general administrative support to the Corporate Partnerships team including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and maintaining recordsRequirementsEligible to receive college credit for the internshipDedicate no more than 25 hours per week to the internship from August through November 2026Available to work on match days (including weekends)Work may require occasional weekend or evening workThe selected candidate will be required to pass a background checkQualificationsMust be able to receive college creditStrong interest in sports, particularly soccer.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of Photoshop is preferred.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.Previous experience in sports marketing or corporate partnerships is a plus, but not required.Application ProcessTo apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and any relevant work samples.D.C.
