At Parkers Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.
The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.
Position Description
The position assists the Environmental Health & Safety Team in promoting the environmental health and safety of plant operations to assure individual employee well-being and compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal requirements. With direct supervision, you will learn and perform the various aspects of the function by:
• Developing forms for EHS processes • Reviewing New Hire Trainings and site-specific trainings to help update and revise • Re-evaluating noise levels in PEM Cores and Filtertex • Developing forms and processes for waste movement and storage from departments to waste containment • Formulating a better process from waste containment to shipping of waste and Manifest collection • Helping with formulating a process for TCEQ required stormwater collections possible air-permitting

Requirements
Ability to complete the job following all policies or procedures regarding safety, waste handling, and environmental regulations without direct threat or significant risk to the health, safety, or environment.
Education
Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree in a related field such as Safety, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Chemical Engineering.
