Job Description:

Provide support for the engineering function in a learning capacity. Duties may include the following:

  • Provide direct support for manufacturing operations; provide support for design engineering requirements in safety, quality, service and productivity.
  • Using scientific methods and Lean principles, proactively identify and offer improvement suggestions to manufacturing systems.
  • Identify equipment needs and/or process specifications; lead the implementation of these requirements into production environment.
  • Promote safety into all manufacturing and operations processes.
  • Act as a technical liaison between operations and design engineering.
  • Support the culture of continuous improvement through Lean journey by assisting with the development/coaching of associates on Lean philosophies.
