Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Intern to support our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team. This is an entry-level, office-based role designed to provide hands-on exposure to safety programs, compliance processes, and documentation within the oil and gas industry.
The intern will assist in maintaining safety records, supporting audits, and helping promote a strong safety culture across the organization
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and organizing safety documentation and records
- Support the development and tracking of safety metrics, reports, and dashboards
- Help ensure compliance with internal safety policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist with incident reporting documentation and data entry
- Provide administrative support for safety meetings, training, and initiatives
- Participate in safety program updates, including procedures and manuals
- Help coordinate safety training records and certifications
- Support internal audits and inspections by preparing documentation
- Collaborate with team members on special projects related to safety improvements
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Environmental Science
- Industrial Safety
- Business or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

- Previous internship, campus involvement, or administrative experience
