Human Resources Intern
Supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department with the responsibility of providing customer service to a population of over 600 employees. Coordinates activities and performs administrative duties, while aligning tasks with the team's goals and business objectives.
Provides day to day administrative support to the Human Resources department with tasks such as filing, copying, and preparing materials for trainings and other HR related processes
Compiles and maintains personnel files; routinely files documentation to ensure personnel files are up to date
Support Human Resources and Finance departments with weekly and monthly reporting needs
Maintain communication boards across campus
Prepares new hire packages and conducts new hire orientation meetings
Participates in coordinating company events
Provides back-up coverage for front desk receptionist daily to allow for required lunch and break times, as well as during absences
Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner
Carefully handles sensitive and confidential information/situations and documentation
Other responsibilities as assigned
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited university
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to coordinate activities for a team
Competitive Compensation
Pay Range: $18.42/hr to $30.7/hr
