The Water Resources Engineering Division of the City of Greensboro is offering a part-time GIS support position. The individual in this position will be responsible for performing a wide variety of office support, GIS, and CADD functions in support of the Asset Management and GIS team, and may also provide administrative duties to other staff. The individual in this position will provide technical and field support for ongoing data collection on water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure, basic AutoCAD drawings, data entry, and other miscellaneous projects. The individual selected for this position will work in ArcGIS and use survey equipment to collect data in the field as a main function of the job, will get training on the different functions required for the job, and will be given considerable independence to exercise judgment and discretion in handling assigned responsibilities. This position will be primarily field-oriented. This job is non-exempt
