Description & RequirementsToday's thriving companies realize the necessity of managing business risk. As an intern on the IT Audit team, you will help clients identify and manage that risk and improve IT processes and controls. Key services performed by the IT Audit team include System Organization Control (SOC) 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 attestation engagements and IT controls design and operating effectiveness assessments for financial audits.How You Will ContributeDemonstrate an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools.Perform IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.Work with client personnel to gain an understanding of IT processes and controls, obtain audit evidence, and analyze testing results.Deliver Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.Forward Vision QualitiesEffective time management.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.Problem‑solving attitude.Willingness to take initiative.Close attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.Minimum QualificationsPursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or a related discipline.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
