Job Summary:

The Strategic Initiatives Patient Experience Intern will work within the Strategic Initiatives team to help the team better understand the experience of our diverse patient population through observation and interviewing on location at various outpatient radiology imaging sites throughout the Baltimore area. This will provide an opportunity to gain knowledge about our patient experience as well as learn about outpatient healthcare, radiology, patient relations, qualitative research strategies and presentation. This will also provide RadNet with specific data of our patient interest and attention to drive further research and projects.

 

 

 

You will:

  • Visit imaging center locations in New York City and the surrounding areas to interview patients and observe patient experience.
  • Document patient issues and escalate as needed.
  • Develop a survey tracking tool using Smartsheet.
  • Record and organize patient responses using Smartsheet tracking tool.
  • Analyze collected data to build actionable trending dashboards.
  • Create and deliver a presentation to be shared with leadership team.
  • Provide feedback from site level observation to relevant operational leadership.
  • Identify recurring/persistent areas of patient concern.
  • Assist Patient Experiences Partner with patient interviews and focus groups as needed, including patient outreach and observation during interviews and group calls.

 

 

If You Are:

  • Must be attending college or university.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel anywhere in New York City and the surrounding areas.
  • Analytical skills (data compilation and analysis).
  • Proficient with Microsoft products—Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Promotes excellent public relations.
  • Comfort and empathy when speaking with unknown individuals.
  • Experience with interviewing and surveying.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) speaking is a plus, but not required.
  • Good listener.
  • Strong team player.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Pay Range: USD $16.00 - USD $17.00 /per hour Shift: Mornings Shift Variations: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
