Position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in the provision of pharmaceutical care by performing technical and clerical duties associated with the operation of the Pharmacy, including the preparation of I.V. mixtures. Personnel in this position must have complete knowledge of the pharmacy operations, and be proficient in the unit dose area, I.V. room, and/or PYXIS system. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles. Specific age groups that are served by this position are marked.
Licenses and Certifications Required
- Enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy or an accredited pre-pharmacy program or an accredited pharmacy technician program as recognized by the ND Board of Pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy Intern License from the ND Board of Pharmacy.
