The Project Management Intern will be proactive and detail-oriented. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics operations, project coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global transportation leader. The intern will support key projects that enhance supply chain efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in planning and executing logistics and supply chain projects across North America.
• Support project documentation, including timelines, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and customer service.
• Help identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solution development.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and data analysis to support project goals.
• Track KPIs and performance metrics related to logistics and service delivery.
• Contribute to sustainability and innovation initiatives aligned with Volvo Group values.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in logistics, transportation, and project management.
• Applicants should be interested in pursuing a professional career in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
• Applicants must have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
• Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or Power BI) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company's growth. For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $17.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
