    A day in the life

    The MREI In-Semester Intern supports Prologis business teams through project coordination, research, analysis, process improvement, and team collaboration during the academic semester.

    Launched through the Morehouse-Prologis partnership established in 2023, the program expands access, exposure, and career pathways in commercial real estate for students taking coursework through the Morehouse Real Estate Institute (MREI). Through the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC), MREI coursework may be available to eligible students across Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Clark Atlanta University.

    Interns may work with teams such as Real Estate Customer Experience (Property Management & Leasing), Capital Deployment, Customer-Led Development, or other business areas based on business priorities and learning opportunities.

    The role provides practical exposure to commercial real estate operations, customer relationships, project execution, and day-to-day work that supports business performance.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Support assigned team(s) with day-to-day projects and departmental initiatives.
    • Conduct research, organize information, and assist with reporting, presentations, and project materials.
    • Participate in meetings, site visits, team discussions, and other learning opportunities to gain exposure to the business.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, and internal resources.
    • Collaborate across teams to support operational efficiency, customer experience, and project execution.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to special projects as needed.
    • Build an understanding of Prologis' business, commercial real estate operations, and the role each function plays in delivering results.
    • Complete an end of internship presentation to Prologis and MREI leaders sharing their learnings

    Building blocks for success

    Required:

    • Currently enrolled as a student at an AUCC member institution (Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University) and taking or having taken coursework through the Morehouse Real Estate Institute (MREI) during the qualifying school year.
    • Ability to support a flexible in-semester schedule, typically around 20 hours per week.
    • Ability to travel locally within the Atlanta area for business meetings, property tours, and site visits, as needed; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and contribute with a positive, proactive approach.

    Preferred:

    • Interest in commercial real estate, business, operations, development, or related fields.
    • Motivated by curiosity, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
    • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

    Hiring Salary Range of: $25.00/hour
