This intern will be critical to maintaining operational efficiency and project continuity supporting the implementation of the Pure Water Silicon Valley project. Key responsibilities include assisting with water quality sample collection and testing for the upcoming technical studies such as purified water bottling, pipe loop study and RO concentrate pilot projects. Responsibilities also include supporting Phase II of Oro Loma Horizontal Levee project, which is critical to addressing both the City and Regional Board concerns related to RO concentrate management.
Additional duties include providing technical support for outreach initiatives, conducting tours at the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center, coordinating inter-agency efforts through the Water Tracker, and supporting quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), database management, and reporting activities. Filling this position is essential to ensuring that these critical projects remain on schedule and meet high standards of quality and collaboration. Without this support, there is a risk of project delays, diminished research quality, and missed opportunities for effective inter-agency coordination.

They be familiar with principles of Civil/ Environmental Engineering, water quality parameters and water/wastewater treatment processes and recycled water production and also be able to work on developing engineering feasibility studies and reports. Have an understanding of the permitting and regulatory requirements related to recycled water and water reuse is desired. Be able to communicate clearly in oral and written forms.


Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical Screenings (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
