Intern - Regulatory

JOB SUMMARY

Join ITC Holdings for our Summer 2027 Internship Program and gain valuable experience supporting business objectives while gaining practical and real-world capability through challenging work assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Summarize filings made in regulatory proceedings and orders issued by regulatory authorities, with a focus on impact to the Company
• Research federal, state and regional policies related to the electric transmission industry.
• Provide support to the regulatory team's advocacy efforts on transmission policy initiatives.
• Develop an understanding of the Company's key initiatives and identify regulatory issues of interest to the Company

REQUIREMENTS

• Entering Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year at a 4-year college or university.
• Substantial coursework in one or more of the following: political science, public policy, economics, accounting, finance, business, and/or engineering
• Interest in public policy and regulation of the utility industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively
• Logical approach to problem solving and the ability to thoroughly research issues and analyze various types of information
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete the work necessary to meet deadlines
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
