Position Overview:
The Intern will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative functions within the branch.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answers and directs phone lines
- Greets office guests
- Collects and sorts mail
- Provides administrative support to all team members as necessary
- Performs assignments to carry out construction engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
- Assists Project Management, Superintendents, Estimators, and Office Staff in all areas of Construction administrative related duties
- Creates and maintains centralized files for project records (including digital)
- Attends and takes minutes for the development team as requested
- Helps in the preparation of reports, including monthly development reports
- Contacts and coordinates with Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Display a high level of organization and prioritization for tasks at hand
- Demonstrates flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem solving
- Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Display superior written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills
- Maintain a tactful, mature, and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personnel
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Intern experience/coursework in construction projects high volume environment
- Experience with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Microsoft Project

Salary Range:
USD $19.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.P
