Memphis Light, Gas, and Water is currently seeking Intern Students to perform non-technical duties providing the opportunity for training in various departments throughout the Division. Students will alternate between work and school for a minimum one to a maximum of six semesters to gain hands-on experience while working on challenging projects, networking with professionals, and learning from some of the most knowledgeable people in the utility industry. Delegated duties/responsibilities will vary by assignment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Gather and organize data to provide information for departmental projects and reports.Request/provide information, execute assigned projects by performing tasks such as conferring with supervisors to define project needs, scope and prepare progress reports. Responsible for project assignments, research, and analysis. Observe subject matter experts and train on various tasks. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
