Position Summary

Student currently enrolled in Undergrad or Masters program. Work duties will vary depending on the business needs of the department. This is a temporary position. Student in an internship or training program with an academic institution who is training or interning temporarily at BCH. The student is closely supervised. Individuals in this category who are not coming through an internship program with an academic institution will need to meet certain legal requirements. Please contact the Associated Personnel Administrator for more information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intern interacts with both the Principal Investigator (PI) and a lab member designated as a day-to-day mentor.
  • The intern develops and pursues discrete research projects, with PIs and mentors providing guidance on project design, execution, interpretation, and communication.
  • Interns are also provided with a customized curriculum, starting with a bootcamp to orient them to the research community and continuing with weekly workshops that provide them with scientific and career skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • A matriculated undergraduate student working toward a degree in science

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
