Description IDEA Intern Mission:The Intern supports IDEA's mission by contributing to day-to-day team operations, project execution, and administrative priorities while developing foundational professional skills in a collaborative work environment. Location:This is a full-time onsite position based in the Rio Grande Valley. Travel Expectations: Travel to IDEA training events or step-back may be required. What You'll Do - Accountabilities Essential Duties:Support assigned team with daily operational, administrative, and project-related tasks.Assist with organizing, tracking, and maintaining information relevant to team priorities.Prepare summaries, reports, presentations, or materials to support team initiatives.Support special projects and follow-up activities as assigned. Required experience:· Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word· Strong customer service skills· Multi-task oriented Preferred experience: High School Diploma, associate or bachelor''s Degree preferredPlanning and organizing skillsInterpersonal, relationship building skillsHas propensity for actions, willing to make mistakes by doing in order to learn and improve quickly Physical Requirements:· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision· Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 15 pounds (occasionally) What We Offer: Compensation & Benefits:Salary for this role is $11 hourly up to 40 hours/week.
