Intern - Trade Student

Comestartyourcareertoday! Van Maanen Electric is seeking trade school/program students eager to gain hands-on experience in a commercial construction environment. Ideal candidates are hardworking, motivated, and committed to advancing their careers in the industry. This part-time position offers around 15-30 hours, with scheduling flexibility based on class commitments. Applicants must be enrolled in a trade school/program and be 18 or older to qualify for this position. Van Maanen Electric operates largely throughout Iowa, with job sites ranging from large commercial, large residential, underground, light industrial, and service work. We are affiliated with the ABC of Iowa apprenticeship program, which means all of our employees have the opportunity to enroll in this four year program and obtain their Journeyman electrical license.
