Demonstrated ability to assist in the planning and execution of youth programs, activities, and events.
Ability to work effectively under supervision and complete assigned tasks with diligence and reliability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage individuals of all ages.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with computer applications or the capacity to quickly learn relevant software.
Ability to remain on one's feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to adhere to established procedures and guidelines
Ability to respond appropriately to verbal and written communication
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a current high school student or a high school graduate with an interest in gaining on-the-job training in fields such as tourism, event management, leisure studies, recreation, communications, psychology, sociology, environmental studies, or a related discipline.
Prior experience interacting with the public is required.
Experience working with children is preferred.
A background in customer service is considered an asset.
