Kforce has a client that is seeking an Internal Audit Lead in Baltimore, MD.

Duties Include:

Lead and manage the audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Conduct audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas
Review processes and internal controls to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Oversee audit staff, providing guidance, review, and quality oversight
Review and approve audit workpapers, findings, and reports for accuracy and completeness
Communicate audit results, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure audits are completed on time and aligned with organizational priorities
Track and support remediation of audit findings and corrective actions
