Internal Chemistry Adjunct

The PLV Chemistry and Physical Sciences Department at Pace University is seeking an internal candidate for a part-time adjunct instructor position. We are looking for an educator with prior teaching experience who is passionate about student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction: Teach assigned courses in the following disciplines: Chemistry and Environmental Science. This will start with our CHE 110 The Chemical World class this fall 2026.
• Lesson Planning: Plan, organize, and deliver engaging lessons.
• Student Support: Provide students with timely, constructive feedback to promote academic success.
• Education: Appropriate level of education based on rank (degrees in Environmental Science and Chemistry).
• Experience: Prior teaching experience at the higher education level is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
