Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Employee Communications Coordinator to join their team. As a Employee Communications Coordinator, you will be part of the Employee Communications team supporting internal communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Part Time Internal Communications Coordinator
Location: Hybrid in Irvine, CA
Pay Range: $28-$30/hr
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm Part time: 8am - 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
What's the Job?
- Drafting and editing employee communications such as newsletters, intranet updates, and routine messages using templates and guidance.
- Supporting content packaging and preparation for internal channels including newsletters and intranet platforms.
- Managing communication intake, tracking deadlines, routing items for review, and updating status trackers.
- Organizing and formatting communication performance data like open rates and click rates for reporting purposes.
- Creating and maintaining reusable templates, checklists, and support materials to streamline communication processes.
What's Needed?
- Some experience in employee or internal communications, HR communications, or related fields such as marketing, journalism, or public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and employee-friendly content.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow established templates, processes, and brand standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint or similar platforms.
