Internal Communications Manager
Location: Remote (EST)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing strategies and programs to communicate the company’s business objectives, culture, and values to its employees.
  • Partnering with Project Management and other departments to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate strategic internal communications.
  • Designing, editing, and overseeing the distribution of internal communication materials via company newsletters, intranet, emails/memos, webcasts, employee meetings, etc.
  • Developing standards and guidelines for style and content.
  • Evaluating fit with the target audience to ensure comprehension.
  • Implementing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication plan delivery.
  • Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Supporting the training team by developing training communications and managing training scheduling and follow-up communications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) is required.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven expertise in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Compliance Wire or similar platforms, supporting training communications and programs.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Office (Outlook & Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and SmartSheet.
  • Hands-on experience developing, editing, and distributing communication materials via newsletters, intranet, emails, webcasts, and meetings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Skilled in evaluating the effectiveness of communication strategies through metrics and feedback.
  • Self-starter attitude with proactive problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work effectively under high accountability.
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives related to LMS or training programs.
  • Knowledge of medical device or healthcare industries is a plus but not required.
