Description:
We're seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to lead communications supporting a large-scale organizational culture and change initiative within a global organization. This is a highly visible contract opportunity for a strategic communicator who excels in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoys partnering with senior leaders to drive employee engagement and organizational transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy supporting a multi-phase culture transformation initiative.
  • Create compelling content across multiple communication channels, including SharePoint, email, leadership messaging, video scripts, digital signage, and employee communications.
  • Partner with HR, Marketing, and business leaders to align messaging and communication plans.
  • Develop executive communications including talking points, presentations, FAQs, and town hall materials.
  • Create manager communication toolkits and leadership resources to support organizational change.
  • Help establish and activate an employee ambassador/champion network to increase engagement and adoption.
  • Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives through rewards and recognition platforms.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness, analyze engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Identify communication risks and proactively address gaps throughout the implementation process.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or change communications.
  • Proven experience supporting organizational change management or culture transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working within large, complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating executive-level communications and leadership messaging.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience within life sciences, engineering, technology, or other technical/B2B industries.
  • Global organization experience with international stakeholders.
  • Background in employee engagement, organizational development, or culture transformation programs.
