The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering engaging, visually compelling internal communications that support organizational clarity, alignment, and employee engagement. This role combines strategic communication planning with strong creative design capabilities to produce clear, consistent, and accessible messaging across multiple platforms.
This position partners with leadership, Human Resources, and cross-functional teams to translate business priorities and initiatives into effective internal communications. The role is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing communication tools and platforms, including SharePoint, to ensure content is organized, user-friendly, and aligned with the organization’s brand and communication standards.
The Internal Communications Manager plays a key role in strengthening organizational culture by improving information flow, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and enhancing the overall employee experience through thoughtful communication and design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and deliver internal communications that enhance employee awareness, alignment, and engagement
Design and produce branded communication materials, including newsletters, presentations, infographics, announcements, and campaign assets
Manage and maintain internal communication platforms, including SharePoint, ensuring content is current, organized, and user-friendly
Translate complex or technical information into clear, concise, and visually engaging content for diverse audiences
Partner with leadership, Human Resources, and cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and communication needs
Plan and execute communication strategies to support company-wide campaigns, events, and culture initiatives
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all internal communications
Identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness, accessibility, and overall employee experience
Monitor engagement and feedback to continuously enhance communication strategies and approaches
Contribute to the development of a strong organizational narrative that supports transparency and culture

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related role
Experience supporting employee engagement or culture initiatives within a corporate environment
Skills & Competencies
Strong visual design skills with demonstrated experience in layout, branding, and digital storytelling
Advanced proficiency in Canva and experience creating high-quality digital communication assets
Experience managing SharePoint or similar internal communication platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
