In this role, you'll manage key communication channels, create impactful content, and partner with leaders across the company to ensure employees stay informed, aligned, and connected to our mission and values.LocationMemphis, TN. Candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate. Some travel to branch locations may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunication Strategy & ExecutionSupport the development and execution of internal communication plans aligned with business prioritiesIdentify communication gaps and help implement practical solutionsMaintain consistent messaging and communication standardsContent & Channel ManagementManage internal channels (intranet, email, digital signage, video)Create clear, engaging written and multimedia contentMaintain the communications calendar and coordinate messaging across teamsPartner with media resources on video and visual contentExecutive & Leadership SupportDraft and edit leadership communications (announcements, talking points, key messages)Support leaders in effectively cascading information across the businessEnsure messaging is timely, clear, and alignedAssist with communication planning and messaging for crisis or sensitive situationsEmployee Engagement & PartnershipPartner with HR, Operations, IT, and other teams on communication needsBuild relationships across branches, regions, and departmentsSupport initiatives that strengthen engagement and cultureOperational Excellence & ImprovementExecute recurring communication tasks and rhythmsTrack performance metrics (engagement, adoption, participation)Use data and feedback to continuously improve communication effortsQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fieldExperience5–8+ years in internal communications or a related fieldExperience supporting multi-location or distributed teams preferredExperience managing communication channels and/or media platformsExperience working with cross-functional teams and supporting leadership communicationsSkillsStrong writing and editing skillsSolid organization and project management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong relationship-building and collaboration skillsComfort working with multimedia content and creative partnersAbility to use data to evaluate and improve effectivenessPersonal AttributesProactive and solution-orientedCollaborative and adaptableStrong communicator with sound judgmentDetail-oriented with strong follow-throughBarnhart OffersCompetitive salary and performance bonus$1 for $1 match on 401(k), capped at 10% of payHealth insurance, paid time off, holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and additional benefits discussed during the interview processBarnhart CARES family care and community service opportunitiesEOE/AA Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran#J-18808-Ljbffr
