Position Overview

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an Internal/Family Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Naples, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to practice outpatient-only primary care in a supportive, community-focused environment while being part of a growing healthcare network.

 

Physicians will provide comprehensive care to adult patients while collaborating with specialists and hospital-based providers within the Central Maine Healthcare system.

About Us

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care for adult patients
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Coordinate care with specialists and hospital-based providers
  • Participate in preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and care teams
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligible for or currently holding a Maine medical license
  • DEA certification (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Pay Transparency:

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $271,000 to $308,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
