Position Overview

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a growing primary care and internal medicine team serving patients in the Naples, Maine region. This position offers the opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered medicine within a supportive health system affiliated with Central Maine Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care for adult patients
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Coordinate care with specialists and hospital-based providers
  • Participate in preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and care teams
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligible for or currently holding a Maine medical license
  • DEA certification (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
