Job Description:
The Inpatient Cardiology service is a consulting service, with the hospitalist taking most of the admits. We also have an advanced practice provider (APP) scheduled at the hospital with the physician Monday through Monday to help with day-to-day burdens and notes. The MD will be on-site working regular clinic hours for a 10-hour clinical shift and will be available for emergencies. Thereafter, the MD will carry the pager for night call and handle any related in-person callbacks.
