What You’ll Do:
- Manage and attend to hospital rounding to ensure comprehensive inpatient care
- Take on call duties to support patient needs around the clock
- Handle approximately 5 MAC cases, delivering expert diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans
Required Skills:
- Active medical license in the state
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- Proven experience in hospital rounding and inpatient care
- Strong procedural skills for MAC cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting or with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in Gastroenterology
- Current DEA certification
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to take call shifts as scheduled
- Reliable transportation and ability to adapt to on-call requirements
