Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine specialist with expertise in Hematology and Oncology to become a vital part of our dynamic healthcare team. Required Skills:

  • Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology
  • Proven experience managing hematology and oncology patients
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage a patient load of 12-15 patients daily efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with outpatient oncology care settings
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or dedicated oncology center

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid medical license with the ability to practice in the specified location
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology and Oncology preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work 4 shifts per week, each lasting 8-10 hours, with overtime paid after 40 hours
  • Light call responsibilities via beeper for established patients, with approximately 2-5 calls per week
  • Willingness to commit long-term and reside within driving distance of the center; apartment accommodations are available
  • Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
  • Travel and licensure-related reimbursements when applicable
