- Hours/Week: Approximately 32–40 hours
- Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem
- Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in Virginia; Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in hematology and oncology preferred
Pay & Benefits- Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Confirm actual compensation with client)

What You’ll Do- Provide specialized hematology and oncology care to patients in a busy outpatient center
- Manage a patient load of 12–15 per day, with minimal call responsibilities (light beeper calls)
- Collaborate with a team of three permanent providers and support staff
- Develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and coordinate care
- Document thoroughly and maintain compliance with all healthcare standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with oncology treatments
What You Need
Required:
- Medical license in Virginia
- Certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Previous oncology practice experience
- Commitment to long-term placement
- Willingness to drive within the region
