Required Skills:
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology
- Proven experience managing hematology and oncology patients
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage a patient load of 12-15 patients daily efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with outpatient oncology care settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations
- Prior experience working in a hospital or dedicated oncology center
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license with the ability to practice in the specified location
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology and Oncology preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 4 shifts per week, each lasting 8-10 hours, with overtime paid after 40 hours
- Light call responsibilities via beeper for established patients, with approximately 2-5 calls per week
- Willingness to commit long-term and reside within driving distance of the center; apartment accommodations are available
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
- Travel and licensure-related reimbursements when applicable
