What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care at an established community hospital outpatient center
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 12–15 patients per day
• Offer light call coverage via beeper; responses within 1 hour, approximately 2–5 calls/week (phone consults only)
• Collaborate with three permanent Hematology/Oncology providers and support staff including RNs, PAs/NPs, and office personnel
• Apply medical knowledge to diagnose, treat, and monitor oncology and hematology conditions
• Document patient encounters using the Aria EMR system
• Participate in multidisciplinary care for complex cases and maintain high-quality care standards

What You Need
Required:

• Active Virginia medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude

Preferred:

• Prior outpatient oncology experience
• Long-term commitment and ability to commute/distance for a future permanent role
