Practice Lead Dr. Covarrubias Schedule Full-Time 32 Clinical Hours 4 Admin Hours Monday-Thursday 800 AM-400 PM Friday 800 AM-1200 PM No Weekends Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Family Medicine team. In this replacement role you will work alongside Dr. Covarrubias and a deeply experienced 30 year tenured support staff to provide seamless continuity of care to a loyal established patient panel. Scope of Practice Patient Population Ages 18 focusing on an established middle-to-lower-income older patient demographic Medicare beneficiaries and chronic care management. Clinical Workflow MAs provide 11 support for inbox triage chart prep and refills in Athena EMR 20-minute follow-ups and 30-minute complex appointments. Clinical Procedures Perform routine primary care procedures including Pap smears training available. Volume & Call Clinical call is managed 247 by the Lead Physician via an answering service resulting in minimal to no call burden 0-2 non-urgent callsweek. Qualifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA. Experienced providers preferred but open to motivated new graduates. Active unrestricted State License and DEA registration. Spanish proficiency preferred to complement our fully bilingual support team not required.
