Internal Medicine Physician Assistant - Washington, DC

Schedule Full-Time 4 daysweek Position Overview Join an established collaborative outpatient team dedicated to delivering high-touch evidence-based care. You will focus on high-acuity chronic disease management and complex adultgeriatric care for an engaged patient panel. Scope of Practice Patient Population Adults and geriatrics ages 18 highly educated patient base with approximately 12 Medicare and no Medicaid. Comprehensive Primary Care Management of full-scope chronic and acute conditions including hypertension diabetes weight loss management and preventative health optional womens healthPap smears based on provider preference. Volume & Call Daily volume of 16 patients per day. No clinical call required call is managed by the Lead Physician. Qualifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA. 2 years of clinical experience in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care practice preferred Urgent Care-only background not preferred. Active unrestricted NP or PA license in Washington DC andor Virginia or eligible to obtain.
